The line graph depicts three types of jam and the consumption of them in an Asian country between 1991 and 2014.
Overall, it can be seen that all types of jam witnessed the period of decline. Strawberry saw an incredible downfall by the end despite a small rise in the beginning. Additionally, cherry fell markedly after witnessing considerable growth. Another interesting point of view is that there were fluctuations in consumption of lemon throughout the given period. However, by the end of a period, it became the least consumed jam out of 3 others
The consumption of strawberry jam started at approximately 140 tonnes in 1991, 5 years later, the number had increased moderately to 160 tonnes, reaching its peak of consumption and in total. However, since then, the consumption of strawberry jam experienced a considerable decrease to just above 40 tonnes in 2014. When it comes to consumption of cherry jam, it started at 0 tonnes in 2006. After that, there was a significant growth to just over 80 tonnes in 2011. Despite a sharp increase, it declined minimally to just under 80 tonnes in 2014.
In the case of lemon jam, initially in 1991, its consumption was over 80 tonnes, but by 1996, it saw an insignificant drop to exact 80 tonnes. Moreover, lemon jam was experiencing a period of instability from 1996 till 2011 between 80 and over 80 tonnes. Although, in 2011, it showed a sudden fall to exact 40 tonnes in 2011.
