Overall, in five countries, women consistently spent more time on household chores than men. The gender gap was the most significant in Italy and Japan, while Canada showed the smallest difference.

Regarding women, Italy recorded the highest average weekly hours at approximately 34 hours, followed by Japan at around 32 hours. Women in the UK and Canada also showed substantial time, averaging about 30 hours and 28 hours, respectively.
