The supplied line graphs below illustrates key information about the population of male and female in full and part time occupations in Australia from the year 1973 to 1993 according to age groups.
As an overall trend, it was observed that there are noticeable changes in the provided data. It was observed that for the male category, the full time males and part time males had the approximately the same amount of points for the highest and lowest in the years 1973 and 1993 which is the ages 25-29 and 45-54 years old while the ages 65+ hit the nadir. Meanwhile, in 1973 and 1993, the highest population in Australia for part time males, the ages 15-19 had an equal percentage while the lowest number in both years had a difference for the age groups. On the other hand, for the female category, it was clearly seen that there are changes intermittently between the population of the full time females in the both years, but the bottommost point of the citizens was the ages more than 65+ as well as the female part-timers.
To begin with, the numbers of full and part time males for the ages 15-19 in the year 1973 had a difference of about 35% while in the year 1993 they both had the same percentage which is almost 30%. Meanwhile, in both years, they had an opposite changes. Obviously, the number of full time males had slightly climbed up and leveled out in the ages 25-29 and to 45-39 years of age with the percentage of about 90% and hit the rock bottom in more than 65yrs old with almost 70% difference while the part time males had decreased over a period of ages and also reached its nadir.
On the other hand, the trend on the graph presented data about the full time and part time females was not similar. Evidently, the amount of females from 15-19 rocketed for almost 20% in 1993 which was less than in 1973 having almost 8%. Meanwhile,in the both years, they have increased and almost meeted at the intersection with 50%. Apparently, the total number of female whom are the full time employees aging 20-24 had reached the highest level compared to the part time females with 55 percentage. Nonetheless, there was a rise and fall between the two, then it was gradually reduced until the ages more than 65+ having the almost identical number which is about 5%.
