The pie charts illustrate the percent of the housing owned and rented in 1991 and 2007 in the UK. Overall, in both years the home owners were at the highest rate, on the other hand social housing toke place the last stage in both years.
To begin with, in 1991 home owners were at the highest rate with 60% which was extremely high as it covered over the half of the UK. After that, social renting took the second position with 23%. Then, private renting was not at the high rate but it was not at the low rate and it took place the third place with 11%. The last one was social housing, and it was 6% which was the last one in the 1991.
Then, in 2007 home owner also save it’s position and even increased from 60% to the 70%. Social renting was 17 percent and private housing stayed at the same percent over the years with 11%. Finally, social housing was decreased over the years and it was at 2% in the 2007.
