Overall, home owners have increased by 10 per cent over time, while social renting and housing rose insignificantly . In contrast, private renting remained flat from 1991 to 2007. Housing rose from 22 to 27 million over the time.
In 1991,home owners takes up half of the all housing at 60 per cent,while social housing had the lowest percent only 6%. Social renting had 23 per cent,it was nearly quarter. Private renting had 11%.
In 2007, home owners rose significantly to 10 percent,while social housing and renting declined from to 4 percent and to 6 per cent. By contrast, private reading has not changed over the period.
