Hi Anna,

I was so happy to hear that you passed the exam to go to Paris.

Congratulations on your new challenges. I’m really happy for you because we can go there together. I know you always study hard for this chance, so you totally deserve it.

Actually, I want to be your roommate, but we’re students who study French. I don’t want to disturb your opportunity to make new friends and speak French. It depends on you; if you don’t mind that and accept this idea, we can try to speak French without English. Let me know what you think.

Of course, on the weekends, we can go somewhere like the Eiffel tower and some coffee shops. Do you have any ideas for activities we can do together? I searched for some. I found river cruises, hiking, shopping tours, and sightseeing tours. How do you feel about these tours? I think it might be a great experience to spend more time together.

Anyway, I want to tell you more about our journey, but I’ll stop here. It’s going to be long. Write back when you can. I’m really excited about this.
