I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to request a leave of one week from the classes of cookery course.

My name is Aslam and I have been enrolled in evening cookery classes since the start of this month. Being a full-time employee at Marriot hotel, I opted to join the evening sessions for learning the art and science of Chinese food. However, I have just been informed that city council has decided to conduct spring festival in the city and they are anticipating a large number of tourists. In order to cater to this surge in the number of visitors, our restaurants has revoked all leaves of the chefs. Therefore, this order necessitate that I take one-week break from this course and it is requested that you grant me this leave. I also would like you to email me the course content and daily lessons so that I may not miss anything.
