Dear Sir,

I would like to express my concern about the fact that I will not be able to start my job on the day that has been mentioned in the joining letter. I am working as a senior line operator in the bakery . No doubt, I gave them four weeks prior notice, which clearly indicated thet i was not going to be a part of bakery anymore as I got a job offer from another company.

They had accepted my resignation letter. However, they were not able to train a new person for a similar position. Due to this, they have requested that I leave work after two more weeks. I had to consider their point of view, as I have worked there for a long time. Even I have to admit that it should be my responsibility to cooperate with them.

I hope you will definitely understand my situation and allow me to join your company after two weeks instead of the day mentioned on the joining letter. I would have been greatly thankful to you.I am eagerly waiting for your response.
