Dear Madam,

My name is Raquel Guerrero and I am pleased to start studying at Oxford University next year. I wanted to dicuss the possibility of staying at the college Hall of Residence.

Since I am a musician on the side, my only requirement would be having a room for myself. I prefer to be on my own when it comes to songwriting or rehearsing. I don’t have a problem sharing the Residence washroom as long as it is located on the same floor than my unit.

I read the cafeteria brochure and it seems to serve a very well balanced menu, but I saw that we could make adjustments if we had a special diet. I would need to include gluten free and lactose free alternatives on every meal.

In the case that a personal room is not available what options do I have in terms of a space to practice and work on my music?
