Dear Jones,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter concerning the damaged fence in our backyard.

As we know, our fence is not in a good state to resist for a longer time now. The poor condition of fence is due to its older age and aslo because of your pet Tuffy. Do not take me wrong, but while playing your dog has damaged our fence quite often. This playful nature of his has caused a severe problem on my side of the fence. The roots of the fence are heavily damaged and also the soil has loosened up in some of the areas. Due to this, my plants surronding the fence are getting affected a lot. Repairing this fence will solve many issues.

I have enquired about the cost of repairing the fence with one of my contracters and it turned out to be 10000$. I was hoping we could split the cost of repairing it as it will be very helpful for both of us and also, it is very costly.
