Dear Mr. Brown
Hope you are in your good health. I am writing this letter to inform you that I will no longer be able to fulfil the responsibilities as a volunteer at our organisation.
I have been volunteering at this old age home from past 4 months, taking care of people, spending most time of the day with them so that they don’t feel lonely. Additionally, I have been running many camps regularly to teach these people various new skills which in turn helped me in developing teaching skills.
The reason behind taking leave from this role is that I am back to school as my summer vacations were going on. So, I will be heading back to the city in which my school is located which is almost 140 kilometers away from the old age home.
I would not make it a problem for you as I have a friend who can replace me and can even volunteer better. I would ask my friend to share his details with you so that you can decide on if he is good fit for the role or not.
It was a knowledgeable and a memorable experience volunteering in this organisation.
Yours Sincerely
Devansh Goyal
