Dear Sir and Madam,
I am writing to express my disturbance about your magazine’s published article which named ‘hidden heaven and the ancient city’. As a head of the ministry of culture of Izmir, I would like to inform you, the article contains some unrealistic details.
Inıtially, according to the information in the column, you have criticized the weakness of Izmir’s transportation lines and in addition, you have conveyed false information that there is no transportation to the ancient city. I would like to give my regrets about your unfortune experiences about the train and subway routes; however, I need to light to a point, our busses work daily for ancient city. From Izmir city center to the ancient city, there are 16 busses work every weekday. Additionally, You can find a bus every 30 minutes on weekends for both direction. If you would like, you can check all informations from our websites or time boards in the city center. Also, contrary to your claim, the entrance fee to the ancient city is the same for our citizens and tourist guests.
Further, this article hurtes us hardly. As you know, our city’s income comes from tourism. And, this informations create a danger on our season time.
I highly recommend you publish a new article and apologize for the former column. Otherwise, we will seek our rights through legal means.
Regards,
Aslan
