Band 6+: You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect. Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. Dear Sir/Madam,

This letter is to bring your attention towards a wrong information published on your magazine.

There was a recent article about my town printed in your travel magazine on 12 June 2024. Though most of the information was accurate, there was certain facts which got wrongly depicted. Our town is reputed for the beautiful tea estate and it was mentioned in your article that the estates are not maintained d properly and those areas were heavily polluted, which is a misleading information. Our environment is plastic free area and manged properly by the authorities and the local community.

Since the local economy is driven by tourism, such mis presentation of details in your magazine can severely affect our incoming tourist numbers, which impact the live hood of many local populations. Considering the fact, your publication is internationally well known and read several people from different countries it can create a negative impact on our locality.

Thus, as a responsible resident of this village, I kindly request you to do an additional proof reading on this matter and verify the data and make necessary changes in the next month edition.
