Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing this letter to inquire about an item that I have lost while travelling on the train on July 4th.
While travelling on the train 106 at 1:30 PM, I carried a book with me. It was fiction book called “Harry Potter and Philosopher’s stone”. The book was signed by the author J.K. Rowling. It has a blue and red color page and sticker on the book cover with a name “Priya” on it.
I was assigned a seat in Compartment 2 with seat number 3. I remember I was reading the book while seated on my seat and I left my seat to use the restroom. When I came back to my seat the train was almost at my destination station. I believe I left my book on my seat when I left the train.
I would really appreciate If your company can take a look at your lost and found department for my book. I also want your staff to take a deep look in my compartment and my seat to find my book. I can be reached at xyz@gmail.com or at 519-519-5195 if you have any further questions.
