Dear Sir or Madam,
Greetings for the day! I am writing this email to inform you that I have lost my file while travelling from Germany to Belgium at 5 pm on 20th April. The file contains all of my certificates including my academic transcripts and completion certificates of Undergraduation and Master’s degree. It also has my offer letter of the company on which I am supposed to join this May.
As I mentioned before, I was traveling to Belgium in order to relocate for my job however I missed it while deboarding the train. My file is of prime importance to me as it contains all the documents to pursue my career. Therefore, I request you to check with the railway authorities if they can find the file on the train I travelled. Please let me know if there are any procedure to file a complain so that it will be helpful to find the missed item. I apologize for my inconvenience and hoping that the railway company would help me out in this situation. Thanks for understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Ricky Hegarty
