Dear Sir

I am writing this letter to place an inquiry regarding a valuable item that i have lost on the train i was travelling on.

Last night i lost my purse in the train. It was around midnight and it was the last train for that day. It was a marc jacobs tote bag in black color with white border details. It had my name engraved on the backside of the purse. It has all my bank cards, a pair of specs, five hundred dollars cash. It is very important for me find everything in that bag as i cannot afford to loose this amount of cash. My seat number was 123(window seat)and the purse was in the cabin under that seat.

I would like to request your railway company to check cctv as soon as possible and inform me about it. It would be a great help. I will really appreciate your help.
