Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my concerns about the planned construction of a new block of flats in my neighbourhood.

I learned about this project through a public notice posted near the local park and from information shared on the council’s website. As a resident who has lived here for many years, I am worried about the possible negative effects of this development.

One major concern is the increase in traffic. The roads in our area are already busy, and additional residents will worsen congestion and parking problems. Moreover, the construction work and increased population may lead to higher noise levels and pollution, which would disturb the peaceful nature of the neighbourhood. The project will also reduce green spaces that are important for families and children.

I would suggest reducing the size of the building or relocating the project to a less crowded area. This would help protect the quality of life for local residents.
