Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my concerns regarding an apartment building scheduled to be built in Solihull.

I noticed this development project when I went running in Sheldon Park. A poster was displayed in the newly fenced area beside the Park, introducing a new resident block coming soon. This apartment block is going to provide a residency of 800 flats.

As you probably know, Solihull has a dense population already, and a further influx of residents would exacerbate the existing challenges. The traffic congestion every morning is one of the major complaints. Next, the citizens feel annoyed about the long queues in the supermarkets every weekend.

Given the situation, I propose a potential solution. The duration of the green traffic lights during peak hours can be extended, and so it would allow a larger car flow and resolve the busy traffic. Commuters would greatly appreciate this adjustment.
