Dear Sam

I hope you’re doing well and had a great trip. I’m writing to you because something unfortunate happened while I was staying at your house, and I want to be completely honest about it.

While I was cleaning the house, I suddenly knocked over your vase on the shelf. It fell of and broken into pieces before I could catch it. I know how much that vase meant to you not only becuase it’s valuable, but it’s also the legacy your parents left you. I feel truly regret and awful for what I have done.

I have contacted a proffesional restorer to see if the vase can be repaired, and if not, I will replace another one or refund you for it’s full value. Please let me know what you’d prefer. I just to make things right and show you how sorry I am for the incident.

Once again, I deeply apologize for the damge. I’m really appearciate and hope you can forgive my carelessness
