The two diagrams represent the predicted sectors of employment for psychologists compared to their real workplaces.
Overall, the majority of psychologists assumed that they will initiate their own clinics; whereas, in reality, the ones who opened clinics were a minority. Also, the greatest proportion of them worked in educational orgnizations even though there was a small number of psychologists who thought that they will work in this sector.
Frist of all, the actual situation illustrate much less workers in private clinics, which is the opposite of the anticipation of psychologists. To demonstrate that, around three quarters of psychology students had inticipated that they will be part of private clinics, while only 16% of the graduated students did that.
In contrast, small percentage of students assumed that they will work in schools or universities, but the mjority of them ended up in this sector. To illustrate that, despite the fact that less that 10% of students chose educational sector as their most probable future workplace, almost half of them worker there after graduation.
