Analyzing the given bar chart reveals notable features regarding the amount of carbon emissions in six countries, namely: USA, Germany, United Kingdom, China and India between 1975 and 2005. From the graphics, it is clear that while the name of different countries are plotted on the x-axis, the level of tonnes emission are shown on the y-axis.

Overall, it can be seen that the figure of carbon emission in USA, China and India tended to increase. While, the fact that Germany and United Kingdom witnessed a decrease in carbon output.

To begin with, the figure of carbon in USA increased significantly from 1975 to 2005, which was around 120 to 160 thousand metric tonnes. About China, the amount of carbon release increased slightly from nearly 360 to 650 thousand metric tonnes between 1975 to 1990, then rose sharply from around 360 to 1 550 thousand metric tonnes during the period from 1990 to 2005. Moreover, the figure of emissions in Canada experienced a slight rise, which from 150 to 190 thousand metric tonnes between 1975 and 2005. In addition, during 1975 to 2005, emissions’s figure in India increased notably by nearly 210 thousand metric tonnes from 90 to 300 thousand metric tonnes.

Looking at graph in more detail, in Germany, the amount of emissions tended to level off at 250 thousand metric tonnes from 1975 to 1990, then decreased to 210 thousand metric tonnes. Meanwhile, the figure of carbon emissions in United Kingdom fluctuated which declined from nearly 190 to 170 thousand metric tonnes from 1975 to 1990, then increased to 180 thousand metric tonnes in the year 2005.
