The chart illustrates that the percentage of students and their parents and also it shows that students who own cell phone at Jenny’s school for more than 14 years period. The table presents the cell phone ownership rate nationwide over the same timeframe.

Overall, the use of mobile phones of students and parents were both consistenly increased. Parents’ cell phone ownership was always higher than students. The two sets of datas were never equal at any time during the period. Also, percentage of people who owned a mobile phone nationwide gradually rose from 2002 to 2016.

In 2002, parents who owned a mobile phone rate was 50% whereas the usage of cell phones of students was approximately 1%. Until the year 2006, mobilw phone ownership of students slightly increased and reached more than 1% while parents rates attained over 50%. The two figures both rose between 2006 and 2012. Subsequent to 2012, students’ rates rapidly increased as well as achieved 75% in the year 2016. Moreover, the percentage of parents who owned mobile phone slightly continued to rise and in 2016, it reached over 75% which is nearby for students.

In addition, when we consider the percentage of people who owned a cell phone nationwide, it steadily grew to 60%, 85% and 96% in 2002, 2010 and 2016 respectively.

To sum up, all the figures gradually increased during the period of 2002 and 2016. The least ownership of cell phone was always students. However, it consistenly showed a continued growth.
