Dear Tim,
I hope you are well. I’ve heard that you have recently took admission in a different school and I know how overwhelming it could be for you at this time. So, I am writing you today with some suggestions that can be of great help to you down the line.
As you embark on this journey, don’t forget that you will need companions along the way and there is no one better than friends that you’ll make while at school. There are several ways to do that. Firstly, you can approach your immediate classmates, who have the same school routine as you, thereby giving you a common ground. Helping each other with study problems, eating together at recess, and opting for sports competitions are few other easy ways to get to know people better.
Also, being high and outgoing enough to participate in extra-curricular activities is not only another way to make new friends, but, it also adds to your personal development. Enrolling in clubs and volunteering in social activities organized by the school will definitely help you overcome your ever-lasting fear of public speaking.
I’d also like to write down some tips for you. Feel free to approach an adult, a teacher or a parent, if you feel overwhelmed with anything. Also, try to learn something new everyday, from merely a new word to a totally new skill. After all, we know that slow and steady learning goes a long way.
If you need any help or have any concerns to share, don’t forget that you have a friend who is just one call away.
All the best,
Ansh
