Dear Mr. Brown,

I am writing to request a new student identification card, as I lost my previous one; while I was travelling to college.

Student identification card is important, as I use it for transit and to access the library. Moreover, final exam dates are out, and will commence from August 21st. As I mentioned earlier, without my card, I am unable to borrow books from the college library.

Without the card, I will not be able to board a bus or the O-train, as an internation student, I don’t possess any other mode of transport. Another problem is without the student card, I will be unable to enter some areas like the college student center and learning lounge.

Will you be able to help me mitigate this problem by issuing a new one? I would really appreciate your prompt response on my issue, as I am just a couple of weeks away from my final tests.

I am looking forward to your response and hope you can alleviate this issue.
