The graphs illustrate the average number of hours worked and the level of stress related to illness among eight groups. Overall, businessmen show the highest working hours, and the percentage of lecturers have the lowest hours worked. Meanwhile, in terms of stress, lecturers experience the biggest level of stress-related illness, whereas programmers’ professions demonstrate the lowest levels.
On the one hand, the highest working hours are allocated to businessmen at around 60 hours per week, followed by movie producers ranked as the second largest hours at approximately 50 hours. Moreover, doctors and writers show similar hours, representing around 50 and 45 hours, respectively. Other professions such as programmers, lawyers, chefs, and lecturers have small average hours, averaging below 40 hours per week.
On the other hand, even though the working hours of lecturers are low, this occupation presents the highest level of stress-related illness, at roughly 25%. This is followed by movie producers, doctors, and chefs, with 18%, 15%, and 10%, respectively. Furthermore, businessmen stand at 11%, whereas both writers and lawyers have the same proportion, accounting for 8%. Programmers have the lowest percentage, at only 5%.
