The provided figures compare the rario of convicts and the causes of conviction between the genders in five years of time until 1994.

Overall, men were arrested significantly more that their counter part. The main reason for arrest among both genders was public drinking, whereas they were arrested least for no answer.

In detail, over a quarter percentage of men were arrested (32%), while the number was relatively low for women (9%). As observed from bar chart, male were arrested most in crimes related to drinking; about 25 percent for driving drunk and around 30% for public drinking. Between 15 to 20 percentage of men were convicted for several crimes like breach of order, assault, theft and other reasons. Also, no answer was the cause of least proportion of arrest.

In the same way, women had highest ratio of arrest of about 37% for drinking in public. The individuals who were arrested for breach of order, drink driving and theft were roughly the same (between 20 and 25 percent). Likewise, assault and other reasons saw a similar percent of arrests, ranging just over 37%. Interestingly, women also had least amount of arrest for the cause of no answer.
