Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I will be taking up some part-time study, and in essence, will request a reduction in my work time at your facility.

I have applied for some adult education to hone myself with relevant foundational and actionable knowledge and skills. In this vein, I will like to abridge my work time, to enable me accommodate this role, as it is pertinent to my professional growth.

Furthermore, I will appreciate if I can get the afternoon hours free, as my lectures are scheduled for that time. In addition, during the weekend, we have a fast-paced tutorial in a bid to complete the curriculum in time. As a result, I wish to request for the entire weekend free.

Moreover, after my course of study in project management, I will become a valuable addition to this organization. This is because, I will implement necessary skill set, such as the Agile methodology in planning and executing programmes that will be profitable to this institution.

I look forward to being considered.

Yours sincerely,

Mesoma
