Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my suggestion regarding limiting the office hours for our company to better successful based projects. Currently, we are working 9 hours for five days from Sunday to Thursday with 1 hour lunch break.
As a project manager of the company, I have been observed working with almost 10 hours including transport time, most of the employees become tried and stressful life. Employees are not able to spend quality time with their families after office hours. For these reasons I am thinking about decreasing work hours on weekdays would be great impact on employee’s mental and physical health.
My opinion would be to office time reduce hours from 9 hours to 7 hours including a lunch break 30 minutes in weekdays, it will create great positive on employee’s work efforts and can spend time with their families. And also give one day in a week to offer employees the remote office facilities which can boost up their mind towards office tasks.
There are so many benefits to less working time in the office, every employee can give the highest performance by 5 hours a day. After that they may engage their unproductive activities in the office which employer will not benefits and also electricity & other utility bills are used more than leisure time. However, Fewer working hours offer better mental & physical health, Employees can fully concentrate in the office and give 100% in their assigned tasks within the time frame. Recent past time, It shown that many foreign companies are getting best result for the limit working hours.
