Dear Sir/Madam,

I have recently heard that you are considering closing a sports and leisure centre. I am writing to express my disappointment about the following issue.

In my everyday life I frequently use your sports centre with my family. My husband and I go to the gym twice a week. Sometimes we attend group trainings as well. Moreover, our little daughter, who is 2 years old, adores swimming in the pool.

The leisure centre is extremely vital for the local community because it is a single place in the area where citizens can do sports and spend their free time. In addition, it has rather affordable price for your service in comparison with other centres.

If you make a decision to close it, it will obviously have some negative effects on local people. Firstly, they will have to search a new fitness centre with similar activities and conditions. Secondly, it is not unlikely that the new centre will be conveniently located.
