Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Om Prakash, and I am writing this letter to you to rethink your decision of closing the sports and leisure center near Danforth Avenue which plays a significant value in maintaining and improving the health conditions of the local people.
Firstly, I want to inform you that this is a prime center for physical activities and games for many local people around the area. Therefore, I and my friends visit this place every weekend to play tennis which allows us to share some inner bonding along with good health. Besides that, it also helps elderly people like my grandmother who visit the center regularly to meet her age friends to share some good moments.
Secondly, we also organize some local community activities which help us in improving both physical and mental strength. For instance, last year we organized a local chess competition at the same center, and we are glad to know that we have a lot of brilliant chess players around the area, especially at the intermittent age.
Finally, if this center closes, it will lead to negative impacts not only on health but also on the mental condition of the local community. To illustrate, young people, don’t have an equivalent sports center near around 10-kilometer radius. On the other hand, old people will lose the only place to rejoin and enjoy precious moments with friends and families.
I hope to hear from you soon and that you will be able to help.
Yours Sincerely,
Om
