Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my concern about the potential closure of the sports and leisure center near Danforth Avenue. This facility is essential for me, my friends, and the local community.

To begin with, I would like to inform you that this facility plays a crucial role in emphasizing the health conditions of many people around the area. Additionally, it is an epic center for many physical activities like tennis, and baseball which helps teenagers to share some inner bonding along with improving skills in sports. Besides that, it also helps most elderly people to meet their friends to share some good moments.

To conclude, if this center were discarded, it would lead to negative impacts on the health and mental condition of the local community. To illustrate this further, young people would have to travel a long distance to pick an alternative fitness center. On the other hand, elderly people will lose the only place to rejoin and enjoy precious moments with friends and families.

I sincerely urge the council to reconsider the decision to close the sports and leisure center, as its presence greatly contributes to the health and social fabric of our community.
