Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to make an appeal to revise your decision regarding the closing of a nearby sports centre, so that families could continue to milk its benefits.
The leisure centre attracts a plethora of age groups ranging from toddlers to the elderly. During the summer months, the youngsters applaud the refreshing swimming pool and play sports like water polo. Whereas, the more mature audience love to participate in various activities such as the yoga, the laughing club, and many more.
It is not only significant for the public but also for numerous birds and insects who find their home in the trees at the garden area, making the environment musical and peaceful with their sweet chirpings.
However, in the absence of a peaceful centre, the neighbourhood will be highly depressed, as they would not have any place to release their stress. Not to mention the hindrance it would cause to the weekly society meetings.
Therefore, I plea towards reconsidering your verdict in favour of the public.
Waiting for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
name
