Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to express my concern regarding the closing of public library near my house in the area of Bramalea City Centre, Brampton due to lack of funding.
This library serves an imperative role in my community, because of number of considerable factors. It not only help students in their research projects but also the elder people of the community gather here for reading and socialising.
Many college students who are unable to afford textbooks, visit this library for study, and score good marks in the examination. Those students are the future of next generation, so their education should be a top priority. Besides that, a community group gather here every thursday and share information regarding the recent inventions, which helps them to stay up to date regarding the technology.
Instead of shutting down this library, I would like to suggest that a small membership fee could be introduced by council, or can collaborate with the local businesses for financial support.
I hope my suggestion will be considered to save this library for community’s benefits. I would look forward a positive response from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Parminder Kaur
