Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my concern about the current condition of the local park near my home. Over the past few months, the park has become increasingly dirty and unsafe. There is litter scattered across the ground, broken benches, and overflowing rubbish bins. In addition, some lights no longer work at night, making the area feel unsafe.

This situation is affecting the community in several ways. Families are reluctant to bring their children to the park, and many elderly people no longer feel comfortable walking there. The park was once a place where people could relax and exercise, but now it is often avoided.

I would like to suggest a few actions the council could take to improve the situation. Regular cleaning, repairing damaged equipment, and improving lighting would make a big difference. Installing more rubbish bins and increasing security patrols could also help keep the park safe and clean.
