Tourism is considered one of the main source of income for a lot of countries. It can pump a lot of money to the country’s budget with spending too much money. But it also has it’s disadvantages like having overcrowded cities and tourists destroy landmarks. And that’s what will be illustrated in the following passages.
There is no doubt that tourism is one of the most important source of income in many countries specially countries with historical places such as Egypt, Turkey and Japan. Countries like these have it’s historical places that attract tourists and also the good weather which isn’t good in most countries. Egypt for example because it’s majestic history and the good weather have a very good yearly income of tourism. Research said it about 30% of the foreign income comes only from tourism. So its clear that tourism can be a good way for increasing income if countries do it right.
There is also some disadvantages of having tourists in country. Such as having people destroying historical monuments . Or having too many people that make the historical places and transportation overcrowded. That’s why tourism can be a curse to the country and it’s people if it’s not planned to do it right.
In conclusion tourism has many advantages especially having a good resource of income. But if the country isn’t prepared fo the numbers of the tourists every year and have the system to handle these numbers it might be a problem to the country and it’s people.
