Many teenagers increase the level of crime. I believe that there are many reasons such as poverty, educational failure, peer pressure, and gang culture. To solve this problem, policymakers should make strong laws and rules.
I believe that many adolescents nowadays break the rules and even turn to a life of crime. There are numerous reasons, for example, poverty and poor supervision play a major role. Because, living in poor condition can lead to serious problems. For instance, many teens decide to earning money by engaging in criminal activities such as stealing valuable things from shops or even from homes, this could result in rising crime rates. In addition, many young people struggle to make end meet, as a result, they decide to find a better job. Furthermore, peer pressure and gang culture should also be considered. However, many young people turn to risky peer groups, this drastically affects their mental health and leads to antisocial behavior.
To address this problem, policymakers and government play a big role. However, they enforce strong rules and laws. In addition, government should take action to prevent crime through providing better education, improving street lighting, and increasing police presence. I firmly believe that the government can prevent crime by focusing on expanding job opportunities for teens. This is because many young people commit crimes in order to gain valuable things or earn a huge amount of money.
In conclusion, i firmly believe that lack of housing and gang culture could be a major causes. To deal with this problem, action by public officials and legislators can be effective. They can play a significant role in reducing crime.
