If I had a chance to meet anyone and ask him many questions, it would be Kassym khan, the great ruler of our country and the person who led the Kazakh Khanate during its golden age in the early 16th century. As someone deeply interested in the history of this nation, I believe that by talking with him, I will find answers to all my questions.
Firstly, I would ask him about the creation of the Khanate itself. How was the process of creation, the alliances they forged, and the vision that drove them to build a new homeland on the vast steppe? I would want to know what that pivotal moment truly felt like – the challenges they faced. I want to ask him about his famous laws “Qasym Khannyn qasqa zholy” (The Bright Path of Kasym Khan), i want to understand the philosophy of these laws and want to know about the values that held this society together.
Secondly, I would discuss with him about the future of this country. I would talk to him about our society nowadays, what has changed, everything that is related to our country. Finally, I would ask him about his hopes for the future. I would ask him for advice that will help to keep our country and society safe and in unity.
Meeting Kasym Khan would not simply be a historical interview; it would be a profound journey to the very roots of my heritage, allowing me to hear the story of our nation’s birth directly from one of its greatest khans in our history.
