An organization’s success essentially requires the contribution of highly experienced people, guiding its direction and fostering its growth. Although elderly individuals are often responsible for steering organizations, it is also posited that the younger generation is able to assume this role. While I agree that older people offer make a well-rounded contribution to this role based on their experience, I firmly believe that young individuals can also become successful leaders or directors for cogent reasons.
The older generation, on the one hand, often attains a forward-looking perspective, drawing on their accumulated experience, which enables them to propose pioneering and highly effective strategies for long-term benefits. This, in turn, indicates the ability of older people to lead organizations efficiently, maintaining stable development in the long run. For instance, in many Asian and European countries, important officials of the government are often veteran leaders, who can effectively tackle problems concerning the state apparatus and face challenges from external entities. As a result, an organization can be maintained and developed sustainably thanks to appropriate strategies suggested by highly experienced leaders.
However, in some respects, it is understandable why the youth should undertake responsibility for leadership roles. Young individuals, specifically, often have breakthrough perspectives and a greater level of digital literacy, which in turn assists them in launching innovative initiatives and gaining widespread attention. To illustrate, instead of choosing conventional methods, some decide to introduce their campaigns through social platforms, such as Facebook or TikTok, in order to generate a powerful impact and become commercially successful. In this sense, such a creative activity exemplifies a groundbreaking point of view among younger people, as they can clearly understand and apply strategies that are highly efficient and appropriate in the context of modern society.
In conclusion, while the guidance of elderly individuals is essential, I believe that the younger generation is widely regarded as capable of undertaking leadership roles, as they can provide relevant campaigns in the present society, including creative viewpoints and superior technological literacy.
