Nowadays CEO and high managers in companies could earn high wages comparing to primitive workers. Opinions are divided on whether earning high salaries is unethical case or not. I personally believe that directors of organizations ought to earn such high-income amount of money.
On the one hand, it can be argued that contribution of workers in low hierarchy levels in companies should be treated equally in terms of wage compensation. The most asset of organizations is considered to be their employees, because such workers manufacture products, carry out different services and as a result, companies make a profit in market. Workers usually spend most of their time in workplaces which should be fairly compensated in equal measures comparing with even director of enterprises.
Nevertheless, I agree with those who believe that directors should take high income, cause their responsibilities are much higher. Undeniably, high managers should identify companies’ strategies and vision so that they would have more pressure from stakeholders and investors, because they are considered to operate such a big business, whether unprecedented problems would arise in front of companies they have to solve such problems according to their experience and knowledge. In addition, high managers usually graduate prestigious universities in the field of management, they better understand all aspects of business varying from finance to marketing and so on, that is why their wages should be unarguably higher than ordinary employees.
In conclusion, some might argue that salaries should be equally distributed among company workers, however, I support those who favor directors of companies should earn much more income than modest workers.
