In the world nowadays, Technology has contributed a major part in our daily life. Especially, on this digital era that technology has more evolve more in the professional routine, I believed every officer has been using either Microsoft or the internet for work. On top of that, during the pandemic, there are a new method of work which is called working from home that allow employee to work anywhere but engage to the office from the technology, may on some application or the internet. However, this new kind of working has both positive and negative. I have elaborated it as below.
There are so many advantages in working-from-home these days. Base on top 20 Japan company’s employee evaluation, Firstly, the staff have got a better in balancing between their work and their life. This gives them more focus on works. Eventually, the company could get a better result in works. Secondly, it is beneficial to the environment in long term as working-form-home does not require the people to commute to work. This transportation-free certainly helps reduce the pollution from cars and other transportation.
On the other hands, there are drawback of working from home as well. This is because some type of professional such as Marketing or Sales require Face-to-Face communication to avoid equivocal massages. To illustrate that, the customers may find it more eloquent in the product’s information when they meet the sales in person. A sales talk although with script, the expression and the showcase would leave them more impression than the VDO calls.
In conclusion, there are both positive and negative in working from home. It depends on what type of work are you working on. I believe that the company would find the best suite to balance in the company’s work and the employee’s preference eventually.
