Band 7+: Fast food has become more common in recent years. Some people think that it has a negative effect on lifesyles and diets.Do you agree or disagree

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

When talking about fast food, the human mind subconsciously goes to unhealthy foods that are full of calories, sugar and fat, such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and the like, which are familiar to all of us. And maybe we will find few people who did not go to fast food at least once. In today’s world, people do many activities and work, time is an important issue. It seems that in this world, everyone has little time and is looking to save time. And this can be one of the important reasons for our desire to eat fast food.Fast food is less expensive and easy to make, and less food is needed to prepare it. But on the other hand, it also has disadvantages. Foods that are known as fast food do not have suitable and useful nutrients for the body and do not transfer the necessary vitamins that enter the body through nutrition to our body. And due to having sugar, salt, fat and higher calories, they cause obesity and blood pressure, etc. Of course, it should also be said that foods that do not include fast food may have many calories and sometimes even have the same number of calories. But because of the water and fiber they contain, they make us feel fuller and longer. The issue becomes interesting when we, knowing so much knowledge and science about the harmfulness of fast food, still go for this type of food. But fast food means food that is prepared quickly and easily, so why don’t we consider bread and cheese, boiled eggs, cucumber buttermilk, etc. as fast food, even though they are healthier and more useful and prepared quickly? The fact is that we feel pleasure and happiness when we eat fast food.Tastes such as salty or sweet and fatty foods have a direct connection with our brain and stimulate and encourage the brain to eat more. In simpler words, the pleasure button is activated in our brain. So that some people feel hungry even by seeing a picture or just thinking about fast food. The feeling that we don’t get when we eat or see cooked vegetables. Maybe by reducing fast food meals and using more vegetables and fruits and doing sports activities, it is possible to achieve both health and a sense of enjoyment of food.

Our is a focus of human progress, which has also opened its place in cooking and has made us addicted to all kinds of foods that we know are not healthy. One of these foods is fast food. The fame of fast food is mostly due to its easy and quick preparation when we don’t have time to cook.

Most people prefer to eat such food items, but my mother says that fast food contains a lot of salt, which reduces its nutritional value and is extremely unhealthy. However, one of the biggest reasons for its popularity is its effortless preparation and consumption.

I believe that fast foods have many effects on the body, by eating them, the body’s energy reaches its peak and causes sleep disorders because it has excess oil and calories and is not easy to digest. In addition, after eating fast food, the blood from the brain and other parts of the body is concentrated in the heart, which causes a decrease in oxygen supply to the brain and a decrease in alertness and concentration.
