Nowadays fast food is more popular and common of people argue that it is affect for our health and it can cause of overweight. In my opinion, I completely agree with this statement because the main causes of disease is poor nutrition. However, fast food not only negatively affects our physical health but also causes significant harm to our mental health.
On the one hand, fast food contains high levels of unhealthy fats, sugar, and sodium, which can lead to obesity which is a risk factor for many other diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers. According to World Health Organization, 2.8 million people die each day to obesity and it is very dangerous. Fast food can also lead to skin issues, such as acne. Diets high in refined sugars and fats can cause inflammation in the body, which can affect skin health and contribute to outbreaks. For example, teenagers love eating sweets and fast food. Each of them eats at least one piece of chocolate, which causes acnes to appear on their faces. They try to cover them with face masks or creams, but acne is actually a result of internal imbalances in the body. Then there are many other things that are harmful to health like this.
On the other hand, junk food can affect not only for our body health but it can affect for our mental health too. Studies have shown that diets rich in fast food may increase the risk of developing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Poor nutrition can affect brain function and mood regulation, as the brain requires nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which are often lacking in fast food. If we compare countries which eat healthy food and which eat junk food, we can sense big difference. For example, Americans eat more fast food than countries which located on the East Asia they are more furious and with them conflicts arise quickly. Additionally, I can say that junk food can impact for our sleep too because high levels of fat and sugar can affect the release of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep, leading to poor-quality rest.
In conclusion, eating fast food is more dangerous for our health which can cause for cancer, obesity, and diabetes. Additionally, consuming junk food not only causes for our body health but also for our mental health too like anxiety and depression and also it can bad affects for our sleep too.
