Many experts suggest that is more beneficial for children to start learning a foreign language in primary school instead of secondary school. I completely agree with this statement. Because children’s brain is highly adaptable and young children learn new languages more easily, and learning a language from a young age expands future educational and employment opportunities.
Firstly, one of the main reasons why I agree is that children’s brain is very adaptable and they learn new languages more easily. Young children are curious. They remember new words quickly. They easily learn the language through games and songs, this makes the learning process interesting. If a foreign language is taught early, it will be easier to deepen. In some countries, where the native language is not English, the language is taught in primary school. For example, in Uzbekistan taught from first grade.
In addition, early language learning helps children gain better access to global education and employment in the future. When children start learning a foreign language in primary school, they have more time to master grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. This gives them confidence to communicate in different countries. As a result, they are more likely to study abroad or work in international companies.
