It is believed by some people that governments’ budget should go on railways rather than roads, I agree with this statement because if people use much more railways, it leads to social and individual benefits.
On the one hand, people who argue that roads are more necessary to take into account from governments, think that it is important to have private areas in which people can drive their cars which can be suitable for them. Although it is an important reason. We should consider the big image of road transportation. Take an example, if most people prefer to drive their car, we face huge traffic during the day, which takes too much time from people and makes them stressed and down their mood. In addition, this kind of travel is considered a huge issue for global warming which is a serious topic for paying attention to.
On the other hand, there are considerable advantages to travel by railway which governments should consider in spreading the budget. Firstly, transportation by railway is cheaper. This is considered an important factor, especially for students. Secondly, traveling by railway is faster, therefore, it is time-saving for people’s hectic lives. Furthermore, by using this method of travel, the number of road accidents will be decreased, which will make society a safer place to live.
In conclusion, despite that driving cars on roads prepare a personal space for people, I believe it is much more essential to spend money on railways by governments.
