Nowadays, fast food has become one of the most popular choices in people’s daily eating habits. Many people, especially teenagers, often prefer junk food over healthier options. In my opinion, there are both benefits and drawbacks to this preference in the future.
Many people believe that it’s much easier to buy and eat fast food because they are quick, convenient, and widely available. For example, if someone is late for work or a meeting, they may need a quick bite to eat to save time rather than spending it preparing food that could take up too much of their time. Additionally, fast food is affordable and budget-friendly, making it accessible for those on a tight budget, despite how expensive it would be for people to buy groceries to make a proper snack. Therefore, it’s the most suitable choice for teenagers trying to live on their own in addition to helping them avoid difficulties in their economic challenges.
On the other hand, besides the name fast food, there are reasons it’s called junk food as well, there are many negative effects from eating fast food that could lead to many diseases. Such as : heart attacks, gaining weight, diabetes, high blood pressure, and more, these conditions are due to the fact that fast food contains a lots of calories. Moreover, there’s a high chance of getting addicted to fast food, making it more difficult to get rid of it as one in eight adults is addicted to junk food.
All things considered, fast foods may be convenient but there are some significant factors which cannot be ignored by eating them everyday.
