My passion for finance and Portfolio Management prompted me to pursue this course. I have consistently excelled academically, always appearing among brightest minds with limited resources. I have traded in equity and derivatives since I was 18 and consumed several books and courses on fundamental analysis, technical analysis, macro-economics and trading psychology.
While everyone emphasizes educating the elderly about online fraud prevention, I find it equally upsetting to see youth splurge their hard-earned money on unnecessary purchases and drowning in debt. Therefore, I have organized financial literacy events at my college to make finance relatable. The CFA degree being diversified, it will provide me with resources and skills to meet my goal of helping at least 100 young people in my hometown of Mulund achieve financial independence by teaching to accumulate wealth.
But my father’s annual salary is $4500, and he has faced financial challenges throughout his life. My father and I share responsibility of the family and my salary is inadequate to meet the cost of this program. However, I have overcome financial difficulties and continued with education to contribute to society and help my family. However, the CFA exam being expensive, I would have to forgo the course in absence of financial assistance. I am determined to succeed, but I am seeking financial assistance to transform this dream into reality.
This scholarship would enable me to join the prestigious CFA Society and contribute towards building a strong financial community in India.
