In this contemporary era, individual’s interest towards TV shows, dramas and books are expanding. They are developing a taste in crime fiction and hence, increased demand towards crime novels, Television dramas or theatre globally. There are many reasons for this cause. This essay shall discuss the same and my positive opinion on them.
Firstly, crime affectation includes suspense and thrill along with horror and a hint of fighting scenes, all of which attracts the audience. Consequently, creating a flow and a series of questions for the users to keep going until the end. Secondly, People are amused as this category result in sharpening people’s skills by blowing their mind away. As a result, the addiction towards them. Since some of these are based on real-life scenarios, people’s curiosity towards real world being one of the reasons for their high demand.
However, these might result in high aggression in one’s behavior and bad mental health because of all the rage and negative things occurring there. For instance, a popular series named ‘Delhi crime’ on Netflix showcases two popular crime scenes- one of rape and other of theft which happened in Delhi, India, created mental stress among all Delhites because of them thinking of possibility of something like this happens to them. Also, watchers might see screens to read or watch all day, therefore, deterring eyesight and diseases such as cervical. Another possibility could be the stress and worries arising from these.
In my opinion, these dramas are amusing because of all the knowledge of legislation and, giving a real-life situations. They are also amazing as a user’s point of view but if they are watched in limitations and not in abundance. However, these should not be watched by kids.
