Across the world, several nations are facing the problem of job accessibility of the young generation. In this essay, I argue that the lack of investment and the economic crisis have generated the problem of job insufficiency for the young generation. Moreover, the scarcity of job can lead to severe consequences such as the increasing number of state expenditures on social needs and the rise of social unrest.
The problem of job accessibility for the young generation might be caused by structural problems such as low investment and economic crisis. It is evidence that the incapacity of the state to bring investments will strongly impact on the capacity of the government to provide more job opportunities to citizens, particularly the young fellow citizens. In this case, due to the low economic capacity, young people can not find new opportunities to work. Apart from investment problems, the second cause is the country’s economic crisis. Crisis usually destabilize the companies capability to run their business. It eventually has an adverse effectin terms of closing down jobs.
Less job opportunities for the younger generation will lead to severe consequences because it will increase the state expenditure and generate the rise of social unrest. The job problems invariably improverish the huge population. Consequently, it increases the state burden to spend on social security of the poor. When poverty is at stake, the state should overcome that issue by increasing the number of social expenditures. Besides, in extreme conditions, the lack of jobs will also result in the rising of social unrest. Poverty in extreme conditions can drive people to fight for regime changes. Eventually, It will destabilize the social and political realm.
To sum up, the lack of job opportunities mostly arise from the insufficiency in investment and economic crisis and this leads to severe consequences such as increasing public expenditure of the state and the rising of social unrest.
