Recently, a contentious debate has sparked whether governments may use farmlands for residential purposes or may prohibit degrading agricultural lands. I think that authorities should forbid using agrarian areas to build new houses.
First and foremost, providing housing is considerably one of the most significant issues for any community. Some governments in many occasions could resort to the cultural areas as a permanent solution of this worrying trend. This is because many reasons, firstly, an increasing in population contributes greatly to creating dwelling crisis. Secondly, many people is violating the law by turning farmlands into residential buildings in order to achieve a high profit which has not been accomplished by selling goods that produced by farms. Moreover, dissemination of such acts attributed to absence of deterrent law. For example, many countries are suffering from rising air pollution owing to declining in farmlands, such as Egypt and Sudan. As a result, these actions may not only lead to a shrinking the agricultural lands but also causes an environmental problems.
However, there are some people believe that the governments should protect the countryside from dredging and issuing laws that criminalize construction on farmlands. This is because of the serious consequences of phasing out the agricultural areas and replaced by residential communities. For instance, many studies have proven that the increasing in dioxide emissions in air imputed to decreasing the green lands, which result in an increasing in health problems and death rate.
In conclusion, in spite of building houses are essential for everyone, yet society must ensure steps should be taken to prevent dredging farmlands from deteriorating further. In addition, governments should issue regulations that prohibit build on agrarian areas.
