Band 5+: In most countries, the number of people owning their own private cars is on the rise. Is this a positive or negative development?

In today’s world, there is a significant increase in the number of private cars. While, is has several positive effects, I believe this tendency could be resulted in some negative developments as well.

It goes without saying that, having own private car can bring some benefits such as constant availability and comfort. First and foremost, there would be chance for indivisuals to travel by alone in their comfortable cars, having great impact on locals to take time for theirself. In addition, accessability may be the other advantage of owing a new car. For example, in the alarming situations, car assist the person to reach their destination on time.

On the other hand, rising tendency of the number of automobiles can pose some issues. Looking into details, the main problem can be the ecological damage due to air pollution. What I mean by that is the growing pattern of machines also lead to the rising tendency of toxic gases, which can cause the hole of the ozone layer. Moreover, traffic jam, creating by the large quantity of automobiles, become the global problem throughout the world. It is not only wasting of great deal of time, but also influencing individuals via menthally or physycologically. Therefore, having private car requires to have reasonable amont of money to cover particular expenses.

In conclusion, I believe there are some benefits to have a own car such as availability and comfort, however, it can bring certain drawback for individuals and environment.
